With greater focus emerging on the Gainful Employment of our graduates, employability becomes the ultimate measurement of institutional success.

With over 20 years of Workforce Development experience, Career TEAM has developed curriculum and strategies to engage, support, and retain under-resourced populations including Welfare to Work, Youth, and the Long-Term Unemployed.

Join the discussion on the importance of developing a “Career Culture” and learn how to infuse these ideas at every level of your institution. All with the ultimate goal of supporting traditionally under-served students to succeed in the classroom, the interview and beyond!

Workshop Presenter: Micaela Alpers, President, Career TEAM’s Education Division

With a background in higher education, coaching, and career development, Micaela strongly believes that education is a gateway to empowerment, confidence, and most of all – choice! As a result, what excites her the most about her role is sharing Career Team’s 20 years of Workforce Development experience with partner institutions and, ultimately, with graduates. Prior to CTL, she served as National Director of Sales for McGraw Hill Education. Micaela completed the Accomplishment Coaching leadership and coaches training program in 2013 and she is also a certified trainer in the Aha! Process, Bridges Out Of Poverty program.
