Letter From the Executive Director

Dear CAPPS Schools and Members:

On behalf of CAPPS, I would like to thank you for your membership and support this year. Your contributions, both financial and personal have enabled CAPPS to continue to increase its effectiveness in representing the Private Postsecondary School Sector in California. We continue to face strong headwinds on both a National and State level. Your member dues allow the Association to keep a strong and continuing presence in Sacramento. No one will defend us unless we defend ourselves first.

With your support, we have become the voice of our sector in California. We are able to promote the good work that all our members, both large and small, are doing for their student bodies, their community and the State as a whole. Truly, our sector is a vital part of the job engine that drives our State as well as producing increases in academic achievement for thousands.

Your dues, which constitute the large majority of our funding, allow us to continue to grow our relationships with the Governor and the Legislature; provide schools and individuals with continuing information, advice and counsel on business, legal and academic matters; offer quality professional development programs for your staff; conduct a statewide CAPPS Scholarship Program that both approved and accredited CAPPS members can participate in, and communicate with Higher Education organizations, and others across the country, about the opportunities and challenges that California presents.

Please remember to include your membership with CAPPS in your 2019 budget!

With your support and encouragement, we continue to build a state of the art Association with all the information and tools that you need to be effective at home and in Sacramento. Divided we will fall and that is unacceptable given the good that you do for California. Change is constant and liability is ever increasing. Help CAPPS help you! Stay informed and stay active in the association.

You are invited to enroll online at https://cappsonline.org/membership prior to January 1st, 2019 and receive our Early Enrollment discount.
Early Enrollment also puts you on the 2019 list for event registration discounts!

We look forward to your continued presence as the heart of CAPPS. Thank you!

Robert Johnson
