According to the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault “One in five women on college campuses have been sexually assaulted during their time there. This is a serious national issue plaguing our colleges, universities, and private institutions.”
This measure is jointly-authored by the Legislative Women’s Caucus Chair Assemblymber Bonnie Lowenthal (D) and Vice Chair Senator Hannah Beth Jackson (D).
