The Florida attorney general’s office announced on Tuesday that it had concluded a three-year inquiry into allegations of misleading marketing practices at Kaplan Inc. and that no violations had been found. The office and the company have entered into a voluntary agreement that calls for a range of disclosures.
In a news release, Gregory Marino, chief executive of the Kaplan Higher Education Group, said he was happy that the inquiry was over and that no deficiencies had been found. “From the outset, we communicated our strong belief that there were no issues, and that was determined to be accurate and remains the case today,” Mr. Marino said.
