Responsibilities:
Conduct financial aid interviews, including counseling students on available funding and assisting in completion of applications with required documentation. Also responsible for completion of subsequent financial aid package(s) as necessary; responsible for tracking down student progress on financial aid package to ensure completion within 3 weeks of enrollment; performs analysis on family contribution and aid index for campus-based funds and awards such funds; review campus-based funding availability on a weekly basis and must have excellent customer service skills, be detailed oriented and able to multi task.
Ideal candidate will have previous financial aid experience and/or accounting experience. BA degree in Accounting or related field is highly desirable, or equivalent work experience will be considered. Knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs preferred. Outstanding customer service skills and upbeat personality with a sense of humor.
