What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversight of campus Admissions, Education, Finance, Student and Career Services operations and staff.
  • Maintain School’s Accreditation status.
  • Ensure student satisfaction, retention and academic success.
  • Oversee faculty recruitment, training, orientation, course assignments, and management including professional development and evaluation and curriculum implementation and control.

Campus Director – Oceanside

Summary:

This position has a strong focus on building and maintaining operational excellence in all aspects of school administration including admissions, retention, career and student services, compliance, finances and staffing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for all student admissions and enrollment procedures, including BPPE, ACCSC, Title IV, Veterans Administration and SLM Financial.

Report and send all revenue to Financial Director and Corporate office on a daily basis.

Responsible for hiring, performance and management of Faculty, Receptionist, Studio Technicians, Lab Instructors, Career Services, Student Services and Admissions Representatives.  Schedule all shifts and ensure that all personnel time cards are accurate timely and consistent.

Conduct annual performance observations and reviews of all staff under your supervision.

Responsible for managing all Lab Instructors activity surrounding studio equipment and ensuring that studio equipment check out and check in policy is executed.

Ensure that studio equipment and inventory is checked at the beginning of the morning shift as well as the beginning and end of the evening shift.

Responsible for reporting all missing or damaged equipment to the Vice President to determine the best course of action for service or replacement.

Ensure that all Instructors are notified of all school schedules and activities including Open House and other special events, ensure that Instructors are on time and have all necessary materials
(Books, CDs, etc.) for their classes.

Conduct twice annual Program Advisory Committee meetings, ensure that PAC members suggestions are acted upon and minutes are recorded.

Develop and maintain close professional ties to the local Production and Multimedia Industry.

Schedule and conduct studio tours as necessary.

Ensure that annual professional development requirements are met for all faculty.

Oversee and participate in all Open House activities, ensuring that the schedule is accurate and maintained and that all necessary distribution materials are in supply.

Maintain, at company cost, memberships in all pertinent professional organizations related to recruitment in related industries.

Actively participate in, distribute, administer and collect End Of Course Surveys for all students and all classes.

Immediately escalate all grievances and complaints from, Students, parents, landlord, faculty and staff to the Vice President for determination of course of action.

Maintain all recruitment, new student records in accordance to ACCSC, BPPE and
USDE Title IV guidelines.

Periodically inspect and maintain student files and binders for each class and student.

Manage student records communication with corporate office in Dallas.

Serve as primary point for tuition collection.

Serve as primary point for advertising activities related to recruitment.

Provide general upkeep and maintenance of studio campus.

Provide students, parents with enrollment information.

Maintain subject matter expertise on all financial aid instruments currently available for the programs.

Participate in or perform activities necessary as a BPPE and ACCSC School Director.

Manage local compliance with ACCSC, BPPE, VA, and USDE Title IV standards and policies.

Oversee all professional studio bookings and maintain current rate quotes and ensure timely collection and delivery of all studio revenue.

Ensure that all MediaTech Institute employees perform job functions specific to and purely in the interest of MediaTech Institute and not in the exclusive interest of third party businesses on the premises.

Qualifications:

College Degree and at least four years progressive administrative experience in education preferred; detail oriented; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently as well as collaborate with other staff members; strong supervisory skills; ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively; train new staff members, understand federal and state regulations.
